One side is a plush napped sherpa-style fleece and the other is smooth flannel, with a waterproof membrane in between to help keep spills and accidents off your furniture. It comes in six sizes, from a small 20 × 28 in throw for a pet bed up to an 85 × 85 in blanket that covers a whole sofa.
